Incorporated in the year 1969, Mahatha Petroleum Private Limited is a pioneering concern engaged in the manufacturing and supplying of automotive lubricants, industrial oils and petroleum specialties. We reckoned in the field of petroleum processing, refining and developing of petroleum as we are stringently following all applicable statutory regulations laid down by governmental local bodies.

Our range includes industrial oils, industrial grease, industrial lubricant, automotive lubricants, rubber processing oil, hydraulic oils, honing oil, cylinder oils, transformer oils, white petroleum jelly, rust preventive oils, quenching oils, lapping oils, etc.

We are successfully serving the demands of oil and petroleum industry and various individual OEMs. We are have created an upright position for ourselves under “small scale sector” by having valid central excise, sales tax registrations, pollution control board clearances, factory license, fire license and permanent registration certificate (No.330347641)

Our Promoter and Mentor

Our organization was founded by the well-known renowned Petroleum Technologist, Sri. K.S. Anantha Narayanan. He was a graduate as B.Sc, A.M from Institute of Petroleum Technology, London and held profound experience of nearly four decades. His profile and achievements are briefly mentioned as under:

Worked as Chief Chemist of M/s Asiatic Petroleum Co. (SS) Ltd. (Shell Group), Singapore, in Central Laboratory at Kallang (1932)
Selected by the Defence Department of the Japanese Military Administration for R&D work for substitute fuels and lubricants from indigenous sources other than mineral as a war-time exigency (Second World War Period)
Appointed as the in charge of 'ABURA KOJO" oil factory
Was well conversant with petroleum and its ramifications and had been serving Mahatha Petroleum Private Limited as a Technical Consultant in a supervisory capacity till 1998.

After his demise in 1998, the charge of the company was taken over by his son Sri K.A. Thirrupathi, as Managing Director. Previously, he was a working partner in the company for almost 20 years.
